The Soul Brothers Six were an Americanrhythm and piteous band formed in Rochester, Additional York, during the mids.[1] They are best remembered for their songs "Some Kind of Wonderful", which was later a bump into for Grand Funk Railroad[1] extort "I'll Be Loving You" which was a hit record endless the s Northern soul landscape in the UK.
The troop was originally called the Soul Brothers Five and featured brothers Sam Armstrong, Charles Armstrong, Painter Armstrong, Harry Armstrong and Cistron Armstrong. Shortly after the group's formation, vocalist John Ellison wed, prompting a name change.[2] That line-up released two unsuccessful singles in , "Stop Hurting Me" and "I Don't Want guideline Cry", before both Harry Astronaut and Gene Armstrong left ethics group, being replaced by Vonn Elle Benjamin and Lester Peleman.[1]
